I found myself interested in teaching foreigners Japanese so I completed 420 hours of Japanese language education training, after which I passed the License exam, and have since then been teaching at the Yokohama International Education Academy for the past 18 years. My hobby is taking walks with my dogs.
First of all, I would like to thank you for your interest in studying Japanese. We Japanese people actually love to study Japanese too, often through kanji game and word puzzles. So we are now in the same fellowship of life-time Japanese learners.
I graduated from J.F. Oberlin University, majored in English and minored in Japanese Language Education. I have a Secondary Teaching Diploma for teaching English in junior high school but decided to become a Japanese teacher.Hobbies: travel and watching anime.
I was certified for Japanese Language Education in 1997. I like to take walks with my dogs and also to eat, drink, and sing karaoke. Let’s all enjoy studying Japanese together!
